This year AsiaCongress is celebrating its 10 year anniversary and as part of our celebration for that we would like to stop and think about what we do, and that is – bringing people together.
AsiaCongress Events Co., Ltd. is an events management company that operates in the region. We organize Conferences and Exhibitions, mainly in Bangkok where we are based. These professional meetings bring thousands of business delegates to Thailand each year.
Theme
The theme of the art competition is the Exhibition Floor since this is one of the liveliest aspects of our work. An exhibition floor is like a marketplace where buyers and sellers meet under one roof. It is like the floating market or Jatujak, except the buyers and sellers are wearing suites and represent the companies they own or work for. The Exhibition floor is a powerful place where a lot of networking takes place, where important partnerships are built and business comes alive. We would like to capture the essence of this in a Painting.
Requirements
Medium: Painting, Photography and Collage
Entry Deadline
All entries must be received by 6pm, 31st July 2009.
Prize
The winner of the Best of Exhibition Art Competition will be given a 50,000 Baht cash prize.
Notification
The winner will be notified via email on 7th August 2009. The winner will also be posted on www.asiacongress.com.
Submission Guidelines
Online Submission Requirements
Each online submission must be 1) a single TIF, JPEG or GIF image that is 2) at least 1500 pixels x 1000 pixels (please contact us if your piece doesn't fit these requirements).
Maximum file size: 10 MB

Physical Submissions Requirements
Each physical submission must be 1) original artwork or high resolution print from University Student 2) framed on rigid backing, 3) accompanied by a digital copy on CD at resolution no smaller than 1500 pixels by 1000 pixels (please contact us if your piece doesn't fit these requirements).

Conditions
1. By submitting an entry to the Competition, You give AsiaCongress Events Co., Ltd.: a. Permission for your entry to be published on any promotion material for AsiaCongress Events Co., Ltd. and grant AsiaCongress Events Co., Ltd. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to republish your Competition entry in electronic format and hard; and b. The right to use your name, age and town or city of residence for the sole purpose of identifying You as the author of your entry.
2. We take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
3. Your entry will not be returned to you.
4. AsiaCongress Events Co., Ltd. reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud).
